This post is part of an ongoing series spotlighting the various businesses we have here in Polk City. This month we are taking a look at Cutthroat Cycles, LLP. Each business is asked a series of questions so that our community may get to know them a little better. Here are their answers to those questions:
What is the name of your business?
Cutthroat Cycles, LLP. It is a partnership between three friends, two of whom attended school together, Jim Williams and Titus. We specialize in Harley Davidson repair and service and have motorcycle retail available.
What was the date of your opening?
We opened in Davenport March 1st, moved the business and opened in Polk City August 1 2015.
What are you most proud about your business?
We are proud that we were able to achieve owning our own shop, its easier to produce the quality of work we want when we are the ones controlling the resources.
What sets you apart from other businesses like yours?
To our knowledge there are no other privately owned shops that have factory trained technicians with dealership experience, in this part of Iowa.
Why did you choose Polk City as a place to open your business?
We chose Polk City for its location and quickly realized we happened upon so much more. Everyone is so friendly and we have been received well by the community. We are eager to participate in community activities and want to shine a positive light for the industry we represent.
What do you like best about Polk City?
We love the people of Polk City! There is such a sense of community, thats often missing in large cities, that has confirmed we picked the PERFECT place to call home.
